animation, cinematography, and production value aside (because im not in the mood to critique)...What a beautiful story! I'm so happy you took the time to give this to the world! I happen to believe it has a very touching and applicable message. its movies like yours why I love Newgrounds. keep up the amazing work and the mature creativity :)

Eastbeast responds:

Thank you, that is a very thoughtful review. I am glad you appreciate the work that went into this, not just mine, but the voice actors and other artists as well : >

In fact I quite enjoyed, it left me yearning for a little bit more of what is gonna happen to Kafei and why the little wooden boy met a terrible fate.

I understood that this story was talking about growing up, and why people cannot be hasty about it ...

The fox spirits were great, you used a nice figure to tell the story.

However, here is my review:
I would love to see you improve your graphics, take your time drawing the figures.
Another is the story, I wish to see a more longer story about the two, it just seems as if you ended it without truly ending it, get it?
Choice of music was decent, but I suggest taking the time to really pick out the ones that match with the situations and their story, after all, the music is what gets us into the mood and heightens the mood in the scenes.

However, this is just a review of what I think, but I need to ask .. where you satisfied with this?

I don't find this bad, just needs a bit more improvement .. but you have created a wonderful story, might as well go all the way.

Eastbeast responds:

I can honestly say I was satisfied with this, and enjoyed making it with all the people involved. : > I am not sure what you mean by "Go all the way" and "ended it without ending it." If you are referring to why I didn't show the Deku's death, I didn't feel I needed to because it was already implied in the game. Also I enjoyed leaving his death up for interpretation which adds to the mysterious nature of the outside world. I'll take what I think you meant into consideration, but if you could supplement what you said with "How or why" it would be much more helpful to me. : >
