its fun and has a good plot. but um that walking over trees thing is weird

I like the change of perspective :). While it isn't really necessary for this game I'd suggest that you work on making the controls more responsive in the future.

Thanks for the feedback! What type of responsiveness do you mean specifically? The movement style was based on older games like Final Fantasy, where you could only come to a stop on a tile.
i thought this game was okay but how do u win or lose? i got to a dark screen and wasnt able to do anything else

The only way to win is to stop playing. ;) It's a bit of an art game in that way. As for losing, if you pick up the rope at the beginning you can hang yourself on a tree after you get fully depressed, or just walk into lava or deep water.
This is pretty bad maybe you should spend some time actually working on it

Equipment is automatically equipped as you pick it up, and it modifies your strength and health stats. Incidentally, your wisdom stat goes down as you kill more monsters. ;)
