You shouldn't do this.
When you make a trailer, and include an opening date for the actual movie, you should make sure you have it done by that date. When you do this you have an obligation to all of your viewers, and you've betrayed their trust in not fulfilling your obligation.

This movie was a riot, and although I hate it when previews are submitted, I couldn't help but give this one a good score. I can't wait for the real movie.
