Reviews for "Quietus II"

Shitty jump mechanics and beginners traps make this way more frustrating than it needed to be. The music and feel of the game are amazing. The rest of it falls apart when you need to make a pixel perfect jump.

Practice mini-jumping too folks. Even though the game doesn't tell you you'll need them. Or that they even remotely exist. And the ending doesn't even make you feel like you got a reward. Yay. He made it into heaven with a knife behind his back.

There's challenge and there is frustrating due to bullshit. This game is the latter. Did you have anyone play test the controls before you even put this out? That's the most important aspect of any game: being able to actually play it.

And the last level is literally just like that robot chicken skit where you have to die or be extremely lucky to know what's up ahead. As if that level wasn't annoying enough, you have to do it blind.

TL;DR: Amazing feel behind the game, terrible controls for what you need to do to beat it.

this game is just very mediocre, it's extremely hard on most levels, and to make it even more difficult, it's sticky controls cause the character to move awkwardly, such as jumping or moving to fast or slow, or a jump that isn't timed just right and doesn't make much (or too much) distance and causes death. other than that, both the music and story is well thought out.

nice music,BUT ITS A FUCKING TROLL GAME

The game is too hard there isn't a way to pass level 15 fix it.

ConnorUllmann responds:

You can pass level 15--there are highscores posted, which requires you beat all the levels!

the music is good but here are the rules of gaming:
game must have non jittery controls-broken
game must be VERY easy to beat-broken
game must place items in your way so you don't have to do suicide missions to get them-broken
game must not have death traps-broken

ConnorUllmann responds:

"game must be VERY easy to beat"
...While I agree with some of the other points, I think this clearly indicates that you aren't a member of the audience for this game.
