Reviews for "_-={Gazing at the Sunset}"

Wow...

One of the few songs that'd make me just want to cry.Wow...

MaestroRage responds:

If it was able to move you to that degree, it means you have seen the story and image that I have seen. Felt the pain I saw the people in my story hold onto.

It is good. I did not think I was able to portray the emotion effectively at this stage of music writing. Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Excellent

You make such great music. This is another good one, music and story match perfectly.

MaestroRage responds:

Every one of my songs are formed through a story, it is to help the listener see a story of their own. Hopefully you enjoyed the image, thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Aha!

Yet again, a perfect song that I liked. Songs like this are definatly your strong spot. Thats good. Uhm? What else? Well I must say, the Title and description matched on the spot, can't you just picture it? Gah, i must get back to my history project so just keep up the good work.

MaestroRage responds:

I wish I knew more about guitars to make more pieces like this. To be honest this guitar melody was formed after an hour of scrapping segments left and right. As for the picture, I can, oh how I can D':

I wish I had written down the story in my first post, it was a very sad one I remember, though no longer the fine details.

And I also know what you mean by getting back to work. Heck the only reason I got where I am today was by not doing the school work I was supposed to XD. Don't tell the teachers D:!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Description fits perfectly,I can see the scene...

As I've said before, your works definitely invoke vivid scenes within the mind's eye. Masterfully done, music has never made me think like this....

MaestroRage responds:

Music for me is worlds upon worlds waiting to be explored. No world is ever the same, and no world exists to serve the same base. With each death, comes another life.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it, and I hope anything else I make can invoke images in you as well.

You inspire me!

I always write the neatest little stories when I listen to your work. No one else does that to me, lol:

This evening was not unlike any other. The wind still pushed gently past the kitchen window, nudging it open towards the sea as it made its routine as it had done so many years before. Gemmanine sighed, her face lined with worry as it had been for the past thirteen years. Her once radiant auburn locks had settled to an earthy brown, swept up and about her head in a messy clasp. Gemm's sturdy hands finished scrubbing the wooden plate that had been left out from her meal the night before, her thoughts accompanying her eyes as they stared out into the wooded wilderness behind the small but rustic cabin Gemm called home.

'However long it takes you,' she thought, 'I will wait for you until the end of time. We will never die so long as our love remains true.' Gemm smiled, drying the plate and setting it aside, taking off her small make-shift apron and throwing it onto the table. It had been thirteen years since she had made contact with the outside world. Thirteen long years since she had last gazed into bliss.

Gemm felt an urge, swift and powerful, glide through her body. She smiled and took a deep breath, savoring the sweet intoxication on the wind that smelt like jasmine and sandalwood from the mage fires in the near-by temple dedicated to the Woodenland Gods of old. Stepping through the door of the cabin facing the sea, Gemmanine felt total freedom - from the war the ravaged the land, from the hassle of city life, but most of all, freedom of her spirit, her mind.

Standing atop the cliffside, Gemm extended her arms and seemed to fly, her spirit dancing with the wind to the sound of the winding, whistling symphony that sung on the wind. As the earthen music died, so too did a little peice of Gemmanine until there came a soft *clank* of metal upon earth.

"Gemma.... I..." came a soft, torn voice filled with regret.

Gemmanine turned around, her hands to her face wiping the tears that streamed down her now relieved face. Her eyes burned and rejoiced at the sight of her war-torn lover, returned to her at last after thirteen years of lonliness, thirteen years of holding onto one single strand of hope. She watched as Jaicus dropped his belongings and ran into her extended arms, being lifted off of the ground in what felt like the warmest embrace that existed on the earth.

When at last her feet touched the ground, she took her hair down from her clasp, watching as the setting sun rekindled her firey cascade of locks. Together, Gemmanine and Jaicus turned towards the glowing red-orange sun that had been there when the lovers first parted. There upon the cliffside peak, Gemmanine smiled, wrapped in the only embrace she chose to ever know, Gazing at the Sunset.

MaestroRage responds:

Sicaria... such a wonderful story. The original image to this piece was that of such tragedy, yet using the same foundation, you have created a story of deep and true love. I am humbled to realize that such an event could be spun where I thought only stories of sadness would be bred from this piece.

I apologize for the late response, until the redesign allows me to see reviews in which I did not respond, it is incredibly difficult to keep track.

I am glad you find stories to these pieces, for that is why they are there! Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece!
