Reviews for "Liu Kang's Quest"

I love this sooo much. Dude you have to make another one! NO I DEMAND ANOTHER ONE! i WIll HUNT YOU DOW- Just kidding, Really good stuff here man!

JoeDragonn responds:

Lol, Thnaks I appreciate it, but its chances I will be starting 3d animation, so do you think I should continue it in 2d or 3d I have yet to learn 3d modeling though

This is a great movie. My favourite bit has to be the random ninjas who get killed. I'm not usually too keen on this kinda theme but this was just epic! The animations were quite good too. The sound effects are awesome, but I just think it could be a tad more realistic. Looking forward to more movies from you.

JoeDragonn responds:

I agree, thanks

wow. i'm usually SO not into sprite anims, or fighting scenes. but this was pure awesomeness! never seen a better sprite anim vid! (ok, it's not like i've seen much, lol..). all the different scenes were a nice change, how you alternated the different sprites for the varied moves was amazing, the sfx, sounds and bgd music were cool.. ideas like the shadown too.. even the text fields were good (who cares 'bout a few grammers XD). i'm no speshulist and i dunno where could be stuff to improve.
anywho - really enjoyed that one!

JoeDragonn responds:

Thanks, Lol I know right grammer but I just be trying to express it more by the text.

That was bad ass! Awesome choregraphy! My favorite was Liu Kang's first fight against the minions.

JoeDragonn responds:

Minds too!.

You've got the choreographic touch, but your greatest room for improvement lies on the technical side. There was no one crushing flaw, but you had several smaller elements that you should smooth out before your next project.

Sprite alignment is among the biggest of the small problems and it is one that can be fixed with relative ease. Pay attention to the feet moreso than the waist while aligning your sprites. Sprites exported from MUGEN characters are usually not properly aligned to begin with, so don't just import and center. You gotta fine-tune.

Also, a little proofreading wouldn't hurt. Lots of people are anal enough to ding you for spelling and grammar. You'll want to nip that one in the bud from now on.

All in all, a good first attempt. Time will tell just how good you can be...

JoeDragonn responds:

Thanks I will Improve,as you seen I didnt use the line tool u told me about to make sure the feet are line up and like the curve tool you use for VG exile Shadowlawless with the object Stryker through out to Bison (Baraka scene) to direct such things.
