Fun little game, but needs the option to continue upgrading beyond 15 points, at least 3 more so you can get lvl 6 abilities on your fam. The item collection needs to be beefed up, say one item per family member in the neighbors yard when you win?

I played against all 15 families and since I forgot my Kongregate account, I guess that's the end of my experience being a Deadly Neighbor. :(
The art is quirky, in a sort of casual-comic style as compared to its menu page (it's so sinister and shady-looking), with a clean and simple colouring (but by no means bland).
Music? Awesome creepy vibe in the intro. Not bad in the battle, too. Satisfactory sound effects. It's all good in this category, man. Too bad I'm a sucker for voice acting and there's none here.
To control your Family, just wait until it's your turn then click an available panel with your cursor - as a matter of fact, it's another pure-mouse-control game. :) Very convenient to play while you're having a sip of coffee with your laptop.
It's a creative implementation for the classic chess game. Instead of Knights and Queens, you have Kids and Zombies. Alas it was a pity I couldn't fight the final round without logging in to Kongregate.
