A lot of the glitches have probably been covered, so I won't go into that. The other main detractors are: the lack of a pause feature, the fact that time does not stop while text is still being displayed (which locks you up, sucking away precious time unnecessarily) and the clock (which is unmercifully swift and displays as 24-hour clock instead of 12-hour).
I like the ambiance. The whole "encroaching darkness" bit may be overdone- but the old fat fits the best and this is well done. Very spooky effect. The story- such as it is- is presented well, in an interesting way. It's also quite re-playable, what with multiple (or so it would indicate, as I've only gotten one) endings. Then, too, the gameplay is solid enough to bring me back even with no other endings. This is all good, as this is NOT an action game, really.
Strategy- planning your day and managing hunger, fatigue and thirst- is key here. Not to mention that certain... things... can alter the situation quite a bit so one must think on the fly. This keeps me interested while doing otherwise mundane things. Very nice.
