Reviews for "Running Warrior"

surviving as the priest IS IMPOSSIBLE I mean the most common way to restore stamina is defeating an enemy but YOU CAN'T EVEN DO THAT when pretty much ALL the enemies becomes pissed off at you and you don't have a strong attack to counter them with and you will eventually DIE from sudden explosive flesh

The game has a lot of potential but unfortunately it doesn't really deliver.

Pros:
-Awesome and very eye catching graphics
-Very smooth animations
-Good leveling and class system

Cons:
-Horrible collision detection
-Frequent level restarting gets very frustrating
-Sounds and music leaves a lot to be desired

It was a good concept. But I think the "Girlfriend/Princess has been captured" cliche is a dead horse everyone should stop beating.
There is no replay value: To travel all that distance just to die and have to start over again is annoying.
The controls aren't quick enough. I press up, a fraction of a second goes by before I jump. I press forward, a fraction of a second goes by before I attack. If you're calling that part of the challenge, that's wrong. Don't make a player adjust to your game, adjust the game to it's audience. When a player has thousands of games to choose from, any snags in your game will cause a player to skip it and move on to the next one or return to a classic.

What's the point in having a weapon if you can't kill most of the enemies? And a jump if you're going to fall through platforms? Bad game.

The concept is good but there are a few glaring problems with the game. For one thing there is an outstanding lack of essential information. How do I change classes at the statues? I still have not figured this out, I'm stuck as a Priest and don't know how to change. What are the benefits and drawbacks of each class? It is never said. Also, you should be able to change classes at the upgrade screen so you can change classes if you wish. If you're going to uses keys other then the arrow keys then there is no reason to force arrow keys as the only control option, have WASD as an option, and please change "run" to its own key. Too often you are trying to run and end up attacking the ground a few times.
