Reviews for "Super Pixel Man Void"

This game was rather enjoyable but I thought it was missing something...
You could make the controls a bit less sensitive and maybe add some power ups instead of those ugly looking gravity pushing things.

Ok, lets make a quick review of this game.

The game itself is fun and really challenging, The music its going to make me explode, why there is not a 'Mute' button? Wait... THERE IS NO BUTTON AT ALL.

No instructions, no storyline, NOT EVEN A MENU!
The game loads and start with the unstoppable music.
The game has 6 elements:
Character
Floor
Slider
Spike
Shuriken
Goal

I like it, its simple, hard to beat and you can stay 10-15 mins in the first time trying to beat it.
I must admit it, It was frustrating after several tries in the same level. But I like the quick respawn.
No need to click anything or press anything to start again. But add something, please.

Suggestions:
- Add at least simple instructions: Arrows to move, Sliders slides, Spikes kills, and you have no limitation in lives.
- Mute button. Please, a mute button. The loop is killing me...
- Menu, or at least a PLAY button so you can start the game and hear the music when you want.

Everything else is perfect, levels are great, and its really challenging.
Score: 3.5/5

Pixelulsar responds:

There is a reason for the bad music. The first game in the series won an award, and the people who game it the award loved the concept of, "The music being the enemy too", so that is why I still add bad music in every game in the series.

Great game, everything was really fun. But soon the levels started getting extrememly glitchy, which kind of sucked....

it's a fun game, but after a while i felt like it was impossible

This game is definitely a nice change of pace for the featured games, seeing as how the rest seem to be games which would take a while to both create and finish playing. This game, however, is simple and crisp, yet still pretty fun.

When I say pretty fun, I mean it was cool for the first 15 levels or so. After that, you really got pretty ridiculous with the difficulty level. Literally I kept getting stuck on a level dying for the first 10 minutes. I like a challenge, but it got pretty annoying after a while.

Nevertheless, it was still a nice platformer that I (mostly) enjoyed playing. The music was pretty horrible but you stated that already, and I don't really have too much of a problem with it, so whatever. Keep up the good work though if this really is your first platformer!
