Reviews for "All Roads (NATA)"

I agree with deathpyre. Business/productive people are necessary for the world to function. Couldn't the character find a middle ground by just having music as a hobby? This animation makes fun of the white collar workers who designed and built the keyboards she was using and the computer you're reading this on. Yes, the world needs artists, but it isn't a black and white (or blue and orange) conflict between being useful and being an artist. Society is tolerant of a worker who spends his free time playing music. To all you liberal arts students: there is a middle ground. However, the art, animation and music were wonderfully executed.

Pahgawk responds:

I definitely did not intend to make fun of anyone. In fact, aside from animating, I'm also a programmer, and that could easily be me huddled up at a keyboard typing away indoors. But there are definitely some people that can't work that way. The "moral" or "message" of this video, if it's going to have one, would probably be "do what YOU enjoy, not what everyone else wants you to." For the sake of making an appealing product as a movie, I went with music as the profession of choice because it allows for a lot more creativity in the story, sound, and visuals than if I had reversed it. There's just not as much to animate about if it was about a guy who wants to go into business but ended up in the arts world.

its because society wouldnt let him, moral of the story, follow your dreams not the dreams society gives you. your life you decide!

I did not really agree with the message. Business people are necessary if the guy liked music, why can't he just do it as a hobby?

Pahgawk responds:

I'm not hating on business, it's definitely necessary to society. It's just not for everyone.

What a hearwarming story!

Amazing! I love the style, the music, pretty much everything about it is great, and it seriously made me think. Though, I think the reason I love this as much as I do is because I can relate to this.

Again, this was amazing!
