Reviews for "Last Guardian"

Well, the concept is great but as the others said, the execution needs a little work. I'm personally not a fan of the targeting system. Crosshairs would be going too far but I couldn't get the hang of it as is. I would recommend a maximum enemy count to keep the lag down and keep things fair. I can't beat the last boss because he spams his enemy summoning power and keeps the screen flooded. The enemies wouldn't be a problem but he takes all my magic too so now I have to fight a screen full of enemies with no magic and horrific lag. And the tip keeps telling me I need to use the ultimate summon, which is impossible because all my magic has been stolen. It's buggy and the final fight just isn't fair but I enjoyed it up until that fight. Just can't play any more is all.

As has been said, game is amazing, the gameplay is a rather turn off. I got the maximum reload upgrade, but as soon as I have more than 10 enemies on the screen I can't hardly fire anymore arrows due to the lag. And the summons are excellent in strategy, but again, as soon as I summon any of them I cannot fire at anywhere near optimal arrow rate. Best of luck fixing these to have a truly incredible game experience.

was a fun game to kill some time,as pointed out earlier the targeting system is a bit chalenging. In general after a few levels of play you get the hang of it and i was ok with the fact of no crosshairs, but if its possible id say maybe make the arrow a little larger or show more of a pivot affect on the bow.like make the arrowhead blink a color or add a small section to show what angle you have the bow at. sometimes i would think yea im definately on target just to have it soar across the screen.a simple protractor design with an adjustable bar in it to show the jist of the angle would be great

Hmmm... I understand both arguments put forth in the previous comments. I'm not sure if a "cross-hair" targeting system would be helpful, that might almost make it too easy. However, it's a game. We don't play games because they are realistic, we play them because they're fun.

I do notice the targeting system seems a bit weird. It doesn't feel like the trajectory and power levels are matching up. If there isn't going to be a visual targeting aid then I would expect the physics to be damn near perfect.

Overall, a good game, I was entertained. Maybe to make other people happy, have some kind of easy mode so they can choose if they want a cross-hair?

I like the concept, but much less the execution. game is a bit buggy. Sometimes you cannot directly press for a new arrow after u have launched one. Some levels its no problem, but then suddenly shooting becomes a hassle.

targeting can be a pain in the ass as well. although most of the times a hit is a hit, often enough I am amazed on how an arrow misses a target while I see it going straight through.

imo the eagle is a bit to tough and fast. imba

When those skeleton thingies (im not dure what they were) reached your gate they were very difficult to kill. killing at that gate should be easier.

I like the upgrades and the objectives very well done. graphs are nice and enough enemies.

I was very dissapointed though. I played the final boss a few times but couldnt win. I hoped I could get some more stars by getting achievements. I restarted the game and clicked in the developer website for that achievement. I got it, but then when I clicked continue all my progress was gone. I am very sure I did NOT click on new game.

Not only all progress was gone, the game also broke down. When a level started my mana would increase enormously but I was not able to shoot arrows.

a bit of a dissappointment so 3 stars 'cause the game is preety nice. shame of all the buggies though
