This reminded me a lot of Battle Shift, because not only did you use the same music (I love this music by the way), but the style of gameplay was just straight up fighting bosses which got stronger each time.
Based on that, I have to wonder if you were influenced by Battle Shift in any way. In any case, great game. Now if only you could find a way to increase its replay value.
I haven't played Battle shift
It's a very simple game but there is one problem with everything and in this case, you have hackers claiming the high score boards. There is no way someone can clear this game in one day with no powerups. Trust me, I've tried, the best I can get is the score I put on the highscore board. 9 days.

Very good game, quick i dont know when i started it but it couldnt have been more than 20 mins ago. i beat it in 11 days :3
