Reviews for "Feed Us 3"

That was... Pretty much exactly how I remember 2 being? Except with a shark and added jellies and eels.

I think more realistic humans would make killing them more fun. Also, imagine my surprise when I found out that it's the BOATS themselves yelling in terror when you ram them! Why is that?

The big piranha is still too easily stunned/bounced, it takes away from the feel somewhat, but most irritating is probably that all the levels look the same, weather conditions aside. Shouldn't we be progressing down a river towards the ocean and seeing different scenes, maybe a little floating cabin, other wildlife (e.g. dragonflies to catch)? It's really very repetitive at the moment.

It's not bad but it loses points with me since it's pretty much Feed Us 2.

like the feed us 2 with some extras....the bounce on the walls sux hard

i only play this cuz i want everying on max upgread >:3 lol

I'll be blunt. This is somewhat disappointing for a game with "3" in the title. I didn't experience any glitches, so that's a plus. The controls worked fine, and the game was certainly playable.

The problem was in the game design. There's only so much fun you can pull from eating people, and once the shock value of being a piranha wears off, you're stuck with floating around a lake for 60 seconds, bumping into a boat, and dodging a shark if it happens to show up. The worst part was when I was given the mission "find 2 treasure chests." I found the chests, and then had another 60 seconds to sit around, because I'd devoured every person on the level during my hunt for treasure. Either the spawn rate for boats needs to be upped, or the number of them raised, so there's something to do. An 'end level' button would also be handy, if I didn't just miss it. I'm also concerned about the lack of enemies, in the levels I played. The shark was far too rare to be an actual threat, and the jellyfish were no trouble to dodge. The eel was a nice touch, and caught me off guard the first time.

You did do quite a few things right, however. The upgrade system seemed to be well-thought out, and I was glad to see that we could build up a piranha swarm if we felt like it. The art was also pretty good (though, on a related note, there were some issues with the smaller piranha swimming backwards for a decent length of time, depending on the angle of your directional change. You might want to tinker around with it.)

All in all, a decent game. Not the best game in the genre, but certainly not the worst.

This has the makings of a great game, but it is too buggy to give you more than 3 stars. I am playing it through till the end despite its shortcommings.
First of all, it is way too easy to die. Here I am, hanging out killing people, then suddenly the shark emerges from behind the rocks and eats me in one hit, even though i have maxed out scales. Why not have a mechanic where scales actually matter? Maybe it takes the shark 3 bites to kill you when you have level 3 scales?
People swim into the rocks, then you cannot get them. This is rather annoying when the sea monster is blocking your only path through the rocks. The current is rather annoying. I would remove it and just have people swim away slowly as you bite them. They would swim slower as they took more damage.
The graphics are laggy. I can play games like William and Sly on max with no lag at all, but I cannot play this game on minimum without frames dropping? This is a nice looking game, but it is not optimized for (high end?!) computers. I cannot tell if the lagginess causes the controls to be buggy or if the controls are just a bit sloppy.
The game also seems to hijack the mouse pointer and force it to be a pointer.
