Why are people about complaining about the red dot?
This is a FEATURE. A feature that competitive FPS players would literally kill to have. Most first-person shooters have random shot placement like this, it's simply randomized. Instead of randomly placing the shot +/- 25-50 pixels (or whatever; just throwing out random numbers) from the crosshairs on both dimensions, this game is actually showing you where the shot will land whenever you pull the trigger. It shifts, yes, but you know what its bounds are, and you know it moves in a predictable pattern.
So stop complaining!
