I didn't stop playing until I beat it. I loved the graphics, beautiful art, good story, and a motley crew, overall great RPG it had a Breath of Fire feel at least for me it did..
Anywho just a few things I thought that could have made this a bit better... A bit more dialogue for the characters, there weren't enough cut scenes to get to know more about these mercenaries and their employer.
I didn't understand how I got skills... as in the skills used in battles, did I gain them by adding points when I leveled up? Or was it automatic when i reached a certain lvl maybe some sort of skill tree or just indicator of when the next skill is to be gained... also I didn't really see how I benefited with these skills mainly the attack ones the hits were low so I usually just used a regular attack, only fizzlehausen had a boost in attack with his mortar attack..
Oh and this is the only actual problem I had with the game, I use a mac and when I would pop out the game the mouse was incredibly slow painfully slow I was dead before the third move could be played slow, but when walking around the chibi Fjor was super fast... when I played it straight from newgrounds Fjor was slow but the mouse was on point... I actually don't think it was that big of a deal but thought I'd point it out .... Anyways Great job looking forward to more of your work!
