I understand that this flash was designed to be an inside joke of some sort, but I'm certain that even if I was "in the loop," it would still be terrible. It was badly animated, badly voiced, entirely disjointed plot-wise, and, most importantly, not remotely funny. I can't claim to have any real understanding of how a flash "gets front paged;" what I do know is that on occasion, a piece of complete garbage ends up there for reasons unknown... and this is one of those times.

Badly animated? Harsh, but true I guess.
Badly voiced? Part of the charm actually, they're out of context quotes.
Disjointed plot wise? Part of the experience her.
Not funny? Sorry to hear that. Question is, was it not funny because the jokes were badly executed, or because the jokes would have never worked for you?
In the second case, it's all a matter of you having a different sense of humor, and there's little I could ever do about that.

This video is so devoid of enjoyable content, but so loaded with horrid images, references, jokes, and the like that it's impossible to get anything really worth seeing. It feels like this was only done in a couple of days with a backwash animation software and the only idea for a joke was to try to rip off other peoples' jokes. I've always wanted to see the cast of TGWTG be animated, but this is far from ideal!
If the team needs somebody to go ahead and make a special where all the reviewers are animated, they can ask a professional; hell, they know Egoraptor for Christ sake! In the meantime, we don't need this immature, poorly dubbed, unneccessary (to quote my good man onion below) GARBAGE!
PS One or two references jokes actually did get me to make guilty smiles, that's the reason for half a star, but that's it.

This was.....not good. Not good at all. First, awful voices, not fun to listen to. Second, take the time to make a good animation. Third, this annoyed me the whole time just a waste of time. Fourth, Hadouken is the blue energy thing he uses, not a punch to the face. Actually try to add humor to your flash while keeping it consistant. Needs work. Badly.
If the Nostalgia Critic saw this it would be his next review... The splicing devoided the life out of the critics and the Bum we love... CHANGE! YOU GOT ANY CHANGE?! Also the animation wasn't that great and the voice actors who weren't spliced didn't even put any emotions into it... I'm sorry but this made me a sad panda?
