Reviews for "Rupert's Zombie Diary"

Fun game but I the nightmare selection doesn't work, you actually never fight stronger zombies with that on also you need to make it easier to get money after fighting 40 zombies I only got 40 euros, there is also a game killing bug that makes him walk to the bottom of the screen and will not move from there. besides that great game hoping you'll fix these so I can finish.

Torrunt responds:

Nightmare mode does work; all it does is make zombies harder, better, faster, stronger. Common Example: Zombies are almost go double speed and the Bosses have more health and pack a meaner punch.

The bug that makes you walk constantly in a direction is the game still thinking you have a movement key down. I'll look into fixing that.

It's a great game in every aspect! The only and really the only problem I seem to have is the last Boss. That guy is nearly impossible to dodge, period. Even when I play on Normal mode.

All in all 4/5 simply 'cause I can't seem to defeat the boss. Great game on your part though^^

Torrunt responds:

While he's chasing you I tend to just move up and down to dodge his beam attack. And as soon as he teleports to a side of the level ready to charge, I quickly run to the same side just above or below him.

its a fun game.
but i cant give it 5 stars because i have to click all the times, to kill.
if it had automated shots, like you just hold down and it shots auto.

Torrunt responds:

I could make it so the handgun auto-fires when you hold down but it won't shoot as fast as if you did it manually; as you can shoot as fast as you can click (with limitation, which is lifted a bit with an upgrade). Would you be interested in that?

This is a very tightly designed zombie exploding type game. However, the controls tend to be very laggy. Often I would get hit repeatedly because my character would not stop walking in a direction two or three seconds after I had let go of the key.

Torrunt responds:

I'll look into movement keys getting stuck, shouldn't be that hard to fix.

Just go to the option menu and click on customize controls, and you can see the defaults for all the controls. I liike this game. It would have been cool if the backgrounds significantly change with each area. Great job though!
