I really wanted to 5 this. Cool style, great fight scenes, awesome concept.

This is way too hard. Unless you are very lucky with your clicks, you will never get the silver required to purchase any of the big upgrades, and without them you will never gain any kind of real ground in your searches. Expand the game, add easier difficulty levels, and add basic commands to your companions like Chisugi said.

Also, TKillVirus had a good point, that the animations get a little old. Maybe add special "critical" attacks that your characters perform for critical damage from time to time, something random but with a special animation (I have "straw hat samurai" in mind here, like with a flash of white and some heads go flying, but whatever). Perhaps have different modes, like the current mode be action mode where you choose where your points go, and maybe have an RPG mode where experience levels up your characters, and you get new characters to join you at certain levels? Maybe have a "random province generator" or "random game" option where you choose the number of provinces, starting province area size, favored enemy...

I don't know, just throwing crap out there.

All in all, I'd like to see this further polished and then thrown on steam or XBLA. You have a really cool concept here, and it could be a hell of a lot of fun. I'm eager to throw my money at you as long as I know I'm getting quality. In it's current state it's downright frustrating, and this crosses the line between getting pissed and having fun (but not that far--I'm having fun up until the point I lose 4 times in a row). I'm going to add this to my favorites. I'm hoping you do continue to polish it. Keep up the good work, and look out for us pussies who suck at games but still like to play them.

I really don't like some of this game because I go through all the places on a level and I din't find the block, the footprints usually just lead me into a wall. Its really annoying. I hope you can produce new better material.

Maybe i just suck but it became impossible for me to win the campaign because i just wasnt strong enough at the end. It should allow you to replay the territories to become stronger and also allow you to re-do you're experience points in the upgrade section if what you picked isnt working. It really just turned me off on the game because it would be too much hassle to go through a whole other campaign to try something else that might not work.

This game is hard. It's pretty frustrating when you fail at least 5 times on normal mode before seeking help. The difficulty starts to skyrocket as you get to the end of the game making any mistakes unforgivable. I've been using the tips people have been leaving in the comments and it still took a number of tries to win. I believe in making a game challenging for the player but this was too much. Part of a good game is designing it so that it is possible to win despite making mistakes earlier on. The ability to correct these errors adds to the feeling of accomplishment the player gets when he/she finally wins. By the time I finally won I just felt like I got lucky. The art was beautiful, the gameplay was smooth, and I enjoyed the concept of the game but the difficulty made it nearly impossible to enjoy these elements. Please take this into consideration.
