Reviews for "Arzea"

The entire game feels like something you would play in one sitting, waiting for someone to drop by. That's not a bad thing, but I also have a bit of nitpickings with this game. The character animation is dull. Just plain dull. Two stubs for legs and a giant blue coat gets annoying to look at after a while.

The gameplay feels great. Steering through the air to dodge (what look like) Ninja stars while shooting in a parallel direction just has a spectacular feel to it. I like the dash of Metroid exploration you added in there. Searching for spells so my MC can get home lets me know that the game's map is large indeed. Another thing, were you by any chance inspired by Level Up? The level design seems weirdly familiar. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should give that game a try.

What I've played so far is good, but I've hit a major bug that has made it impossible for me to progress without restarting my game.

I beat the first boss, unlocking the yellow key, but before I could collect the yellow key I died on the spikes. When I respawned, the key and the boss were both gone, and the yellow blocks were still locked.

Nice Game!!!

Can anyone help me?
Everytime I play Games with Flixel-Engine (or a Pixel-Look) everything get's laggy pretty quickly.
This never happens with other engines/gametypes and just drives me nuts (especially because I like those pixel-games so much).
Anyone able to help me?
I've tried to shut down other programs, even stopped updates, shut down my Antivir-Program. The Effect is a short period of good (or even too fast) playing time, then (f.i. after I hit a Checkpoint) everything returns to being laggy even freezing for a moment.
Yes... I have the newest flash-Version installed. Yes.. I've got the newest firefox.
I just wonder, that I can play complex 3D-Games without any problems but fail to do with a pixel-webbrowser game.

Again... thanx for some tipps.

Fun and addictive with nice graphics and a open world with abilities needed to get other ones. nice! I will take 2 stars because of the constant bullet hells.

I like the idea. I would suggest a better map system, as I often get confused where I'm headed/what I am missing, and the map doesn't help.
