the gameplay is pretty common
it is not a bad thing
but it can be great game with some more depth in terms of art and music
it might take long for one person
but you can always consider working with other people such as artists, musicians, programmers, etc

what do you do when you beat all the meowths?
I found a cheat in the game , first switch weapon(c) then hold the up arrow and left or right arrow to to make a funny glitch

The mechanics of you game are there and the gameplay could be decent. Capture more images of your characters (or use sprites instead) to make the animation more fluid and that way you'll actually be able to see the animations of the life bar and lightning attack. As for the game itself, think in terms of any story - beginning, middle, and end. You have an okay middle, but now you need a reason for your characters to be there, and what happens after your character reaches the end of the level. Keep up the work.
