Really, all I think it needs is some sound effects to reinforce what is happening visually and to give the player feedback on what they are doing, what is happening. also, I personally would add something to the boss, sound effect or visual Que , to let the player know the claw is about to drop.

Stop complaining so much sheesh. The game is the survival kind, you're not supposed to last forever. Same reason you have a lot of 'lives' as someone wrote. It gives much more variation in the outcome of your game.
The game is nice, a bit too simple for my taste, but it seems enjoyable enough.
The lack of sound effects however retract points from your score. I get your theme, but no sound effects makes it kinda bland, you need to figure out how to put some effects in that dosn't mess with the theme.
With some sound effects you could've upped your score to 9.

Innovative gameplay, hard (but beatable) difficulty, smashing people. With those three indicators for good games combined you have made a masterpiece! The artwork fits well and the story is entertaining and weird (that's a +) . Sadly, I can't rate the music as I currently don't have speakers.
I have only one point of (constructive) criticism: There should be a safe place, where the zappers cant hit you at the bottom, such that you can wait there after they got you once. It was really annoying to get zapped in the same moment the smash-thing could move again without the possibility to do anything against it.
And don't listen to the whiny kiddies. The game is hard, but beatable. I needed 2 tries and I am not really good at this kind of game.

It's drawn good and it's hard to stop. But I feel helpless when the robot steals my last 25 cents which my mom gave me to buy gum because I was a good boy.
