Reviews for "Mission in Space"

It's an interesting take on survival and does it's best to create a new experience, but it's fairly boring after a while. For some unknown and odd reason, it reminds me of Parasite Eve, But that's just me.

The battle system itself is without flaws. You gain, but with a price, so it's always on fair grounds. The teamwork system, constantly switching between teammates, is a great idea, but it felt tedious. Always watching your allies stats made me feel like some old announcer guy who sits there clicking buttons and playing God. I don't know what it is, and I don't know why I don't like it, but I'm giving this a 3/5. It's not flawed in any way, but it just felt "wrong."

Good game, killer bug

I really loved this game, at least what I could play of it. But since it deletes my save games pretty regularly, I don't know how the last half plays.

It's deleted my saved games a grand total of four times now - haven't had this problem with any other game on the site, so despite WANTING (badly) to finish this game, it's not gonna happen.

While the game has possibilities, it suffers from some poor probabilities. An example is on the hard mode, to lose obtaining the diamond, because before a man could get off the elevator, on alert, an exploding creature spews acid into the elevator. Also, you're screwed on the 12th mission by the reseeding of the invulnerable creature spewing acid. One is limited where their men can be placed strategically as to where the creatures can appear. It becomes "luck," which sucks. It's ridiculous why once the tentacles are killed that the invulnerable creature can only suffer loss once per round. This was the hardest game to win a medal and then they're not even awarded. If it wasn't for the possibilities of this game it would have got a "0." It really pissed me off that I maxed skills at level 36 and the shit programming thwarted my brilliance.

Good game, but seams like a rip off of the 1994 pc Xcom game.

This game shows a lot of promise, but inevitably fails at achieving its full potential. The mechanics are fine, but "nothing too new or interesting" the storyline is near nonexistent, the characters look like badly colored astronaut power rangers, and after getting halfway through the game the enemies still had not changed whatsoever. This game had a lot of potential, but before they made skills "premium" they should have focused more on improving the core game. Solid 2 stars.
