Best game of this type I've ever played

Too bad I've never seen a game like this that's not "not worth playing again". Like how the key you press is esc (I see what you did there) and the fast-paced music works where with the game play. But what I like most is how sensitive it is. Like it's easy to control with one key...if that makes sense.

More luck than skill

It feels like luck is more important in this game than skill is.
To a certain degree, you can time your jumps to avoid some spikes, but sometimes the spikes are laid out in the worst way possible and you end up dying before you even hit 100 m.
It's a good game for burning a few minutes. It's fast paced, looks good, and the music suits it well.

music name/10

Too hard to get up there

This game did some things well. The whole concept of jumping up, holding it longer to go higher, that can make for an interesting game. Throw in the interesting and nicely done graphics and music, and things are lining up to be a real winner. The fatal flaw though, is the random zappers. It's too difficult to avoid them in some places. Had they have been set statically, I could have gotten a pattern down and worked past them. Always trying to go a bit higher to see what's next, that's what keeps me playing. I'd like to see what's higher up on this one but just can't make it. Could there be other obstacles to avoid and learn to deal with? Doesn't matter because I can't make it past the bottom. I still want to see though, because as I said, I like the art.

Pretty addicting

But also pretty luck based.

It got me hooked on my computer for like, 20 minutes, which is already a lot for a game that simple.

I noticed after 10 minutes that if you kept the button pressed longer and pressed it at the good timing, you jump further and faster. But when you do this, you never know what you are going to land (or rather, "wall") on.

Making it luck based.

Making this game something that is somewhere between bad and not good.

This problem is the difference between 5/10 and 9/10.
