im sorry but i disagree
while i understand that some event should be looked upon as nether good or bad but there are thing that are just plain bad and good. i understand that one should look at events as events and not determine whether or not they are good or bad because we simply can not know in the grand scheme of thing there true meaning. How ever this can not be true of all things. For example the killing of a innocent child or mass genocide there is no doubt a bad thing no matter the circumstances, you can try to spin it, you can try to justify it but it still a bad thing to take life. There are also event that are good no matter what. For example the event of love or planting trees are good events. To say that you cant look at event are good or bad to me is wrong there are good and bad events happening all over the world and event that were bad (im sorry no matter what you say the holocaust was a bad event and should not be repeated). to say that event cant be looked as good or bad is an insult to those who do good deeds and encouragement to those who do wrong.Do you think it is ok to something honorably because it might be construed as good in the grand scheme of things? that's like saying it was ok to drop bombs on Hiroshima because they were at war with us and that event wasn't bad because we ended the war. just because the end is promising doesn't make the means in which they were a acquired not good or bad.the event where the son broke his leg was bad just because something good came from it doesn't make the event of breaking his leg good it still bad he broke his leg it good he didn't have to go because of it.
