"That Game Was Awesome." -Me, 45 seconds ago

I mean, there's a learning curve - a lot of people don't like that, but i'm actually the type of person who enjoys learning as I go on my own. At first, I was using the arrow keys and doing nothing, but the clock wasn't running so I wasn't stressed. I figured out it was WASD pretty quickly, then it took me a minute to figure out the controls for moving maps and for jumping in and out of the map screen (BTW I really like that I can move the map I'm on - seems obvious, but it would be very frustrating to still want to go right and be at the edge of the map, which definitely happened). I really like the interface having a little (1) on the maps that still had keys, and eventually I figured out that the sides had to match PERFECTLY (this was at like 2:30 left, and I'd gotten about 5 or 6 keys at this point). Once I figured that out, it was really FUN to line up little paths and rearrange them.
Of course, the main regret is that it's short. It fits the story, sure, and the story's decent for having so little of it and such low graphic quality (although it is used very well).
If I had a complaint - in one of the rooms the shadowy guy ran at me and past me, and that took me out of the experience. Aren't I chasing that guy? Or if we're both after the heart, I wish that was introduced earlier so I'd know.
Honestly, this is a very well made game. And I really LIKE the music. It's jarring with the strings, and fast-paced with the drum beat, but it's also heartwarming at parts. I mean it's just good chase music.
So thank you. I mean, this was about 4:10 of my life playing the game. I've probably spent more than that on this review. Just goes to show it's a great game - looking forward to more from you, and I'll be sure to check out what else you've done.

think you forget something

Like, oh idk, everything. Space button doesn't actually do anything. music is annoying, lacks sound effects or direction, or objective, or instructions, i really really have no idea how this made it on the front page. the frikken timer doesn't even do anything. :\

why?

you need a tutorial

you need a tutorial to understand the linkage of the tunnels. Thus, the player will be able to understand why he can't build his solution.
Except for this, the game is not bad. No bug to report.

So much win...

Almost everything was perfect about this game. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, I loved it. However, the whole premise, while great and is still intuitive, is really frustrating. But, all in all, it was great, and I dont say that often.

Now I need more of you

Really, your Robots Can't Think was amazing, and this one's pretty rad too. Continuity is a great inspiration, strange how so few games played with that organize-your-own-playground concept once Ragtime Games showed the basics of it. I applaud you ability for making this fine stuff with this freaky atmosphere, even if it's just for the feel of it and not to sustain any real story. Get your page up already, I looked everywhere without finding anything about you back when I played Robots Can't Think, like a week ago of something.
