Reviews for "Every War in History Ever"

valid point, everything else was bad

of course people will give you bad reviews if they think you are either wrong or bad at making movies.

I personally agree with your point but felt your presentation was terrible.

bad sound quality (can't deny this)
bad dialogue,
bad art (don't give me any B.S. about why you chose to do a lazy uncolored pencil animation, the simple truth is you either lacked the skill or the effort)
bad animation, (yes this is different, you could have managed some better tweens, better perspectives and transitions, but you didn't, instead you took a slo-mo of two people yelling)

if you want props for rehashing one of the oldest concepts in history i.e.: history is written by the winners/war doesn't prove who is right, just who is left then you need to at least add something new, like good art, good narrative, etc.

p.s. if the 'animation isn't supposed to be spectacular' of course I won't give you a spectacular grade. this wasn't even good so I won't even give you a good grade.

the problem with your flash...

is that its not so black and white, its incomplete, and poorly animated....

now we could argue all day as to what the real reason for war is, which is hardly as black and white as an argument...

they have specialists who sit in rooms and scribble in books all day trying to figure out the true reasons, leave it to them next time...

heaven forbid an agreement should ever go wrong...

cant imagine how your household must be when you can't decide what toppings you want on your pizza...

if you are going to post a video of your own PERSONAL opinion and interpretation of war, you should probably rename your video to;

"how i interpret every war ever"
"how i personally perceive every war ever"

or anything beyond, "this is every war ever"...

don't be so absolute and you wont have to deal with everyone hating on you when you are wrong

......

There wasn't really anything too good about this. The animation was pretty shotty, which is easily forgivable if it serves to make the animation more enjoyable (this not being the case). Then the overall concept of it doesnt really make sense, Im guessing religion inspired this, because other than that Id say that the majority of wars fought are for power in the form of land or wealth. Also Im an American who can enjoy a good bashing of my own country, but only if it makes sense. Sure the USA has fought plenty of questionable wars, but how are you going to put the flag of a country thats not even 300 years old behind something practically as old as humanity itself? Plus Im pretty sure that guy learned that he can just kill whoever gets in his way, so theres that.

Sigh... another bad review from someone who took the message literally.

The animation is supposed to look "shotty", and if you think about it, the greed for wealth and land, IS AN OPINION ITSELF. Want is opinion. If they didn't want it, they wouldn't fight for it. And the American flag, it's just a joke. Adds humor.

Grow up.

This is

a bit of an over-simplification don't you think? also the animation is kind of not very good at all. There are only a few lines, but even those don't match up to the mouths. I really thought this might be an exploration in the complete ludicrous nature of war or at least some poignant satire, but I found this flash to be something else entirely. Short, hollow, and narrow-minded.

This would be atleast agreeable if...

America hadn't been attacked in it. I mean, really? Is this how cliche you're going to be? The very fact you put that strike on America here removes any possible idea that you're trying to say you're pushing. You're just spouting the usual dribble here, friend. You want some constructive criticism? Learn how to write. Learn how to make a good concept instead of taking the usual dribble of "Well everyone has an opinion, its all opinions here" and "America is war-mongering" especially when you're going to mix the two together and somehow claim its just your opinion and try to push it off as a joke, because you are also not funny. Get off political jokes until you can come up with an opinion on your own that doesn't make the same message a thousand others already made. I beg you to -not- start this "series of many shorts" and please, just make some nice little original flash and start there, like I am.

Looks like someone took the message literally.
