Reviews for "Every War in History Ever"

Gee...because war is just about opinion...

I mean, it's not like resources, land, women, men (gay or female...Aztec warriors ftw), or power are never ever ever the requirements for a war. Not to mention personal freedom....hmm, I guess that the Revolution was a matter of opinion and not based on the fact that we were sick of being ruled in the United States.

War is a thing of requirement and isn't just about opinion. Sometimes war is needed to obtain what the other has or in other times it is used to disperse or kill either the enemies' or your own populace in order to either terminate a potential threat or as a way to provide jobs and money by clearing up the space a little.

Flash was way too poor in quality and the creator seemed to lack an understanding of what they were trying to convey. Audio could use some work too. So aside from personal opinion, this is being rated low due to lack of quality.

StaticBunny responds:

The want for any of those things in a opinion.

And the Flash isn't supposed to have ground breaking animation.

Pahaha

I am LOLing at all the deep reviews where people are hating on this simple animation.

Seriously guys STFU about what the wars were actually like. Nobody gives.

Nice style and the sync was good between the video and the sound. But short enough that it get you a 7.

You're wrong.

I don't think your model is an accurate representation of how wars start. You make it sound like both sides strike at the same time. The difference of opinion is true, but it usually only starts when one side decides to enforce their opinion on someone else, and the other person fights back. America didn't enter WW2 until Pearl Harbor was bombed and Russia didn't enter until Germany attacked them, etc.

Here's why you get a 0 from me. You implied that all wars are useless and nothing is ever gained. How about freedom? Like when America won it's independence? Or how about WW2 when the Allies stopped the genocidal Axis from conquering the world? I'm sure all the men and women who died defending our freedom and rights will be happy to know we think that nothing was gained from their sacrifice. You have the right to make a flash like this don't you?

Are their useless wars in history? Yes, but your model hardly covers them all.

messege pointed at the guy below me

if you're the people who want to go over semantics then you're the type of who would be offended by this. It shows that you don't need to spend five hours a week for three months to make something that points out the fault of human logic and makes it funny enough to get a few chuckles. Which is more than most animations that showcase their newest pixel shaders and 3d renderings more than actual creativity,

So whats the point?

"As for the animation, it's not supposed to look good. I made this in about a half hour's worth of time. I can animate better, trust me."

"There is no true message"

First off I think how long you worked on it should be mentioned in the author comments, then people wouldnt really expect much.

How can you say theres no message? You use the subject of war throughout human history as represented by the two characters in the flash. They engage in conflict with the "winner" jubilantly stateting that he has gained nothing from this, and then you toss in the US flag and anthem in the background ( I dont care wether or not this bashes the US or not, I personally dont think it does and honestly dont care). Basically I just want to know why you made this then if it wasnt to display a message, and how in your own words it was just a halfed assed job.
