Anime Inspired and Stuff!
Dunno if it was intentional or not but I was feeling some Naruto Shippuden (did I spell it right?) vibes throughout the entire animation (character attire, models, behavior, story, etc.) So is that the "anime-inspired" stuff? :P Its fine though, this series has some great potential!
First off, I admire an animator that posts something that is longer than 2-4 minutes, with decent animation nonetheless. And it is only going to get better from here! Music was great as well, especially the credit music.
Also, another plus, the menu. Scene selection, replay button, great additions to an animation if ya' wanna see your favorite scenes again, instead of watching it ALL over again (especially long flashes like this) You get brownie points for easter eggs and character bios! :D
However, with the good comes the bad. Animation was decent yet choppy in certain scenes, especially the more action-oriented ones. Personally, I felt the characters were rather cliche (distant protaganist, energetic support character, power-hungry villian, etc.) But, it would be unfair to entirely judge the characters in only one animation, your characters have room to develop and separate themselves from the carbon-copies out there.
All in all, this animation has proven it can be something more. You have worked hard on this and I hope you work even harder on the next one, and the next one, and the next one... you get the point. It has been a while since I've seen a good series on Newgrounds, you can definitly pull it off. We, as viewers, will have to wait and see what you have to offer.
As always, I am thankful you took the time and effort to animate this for us viewers. Some people don't appreciate all the hard work that goes into making an animation (its hard stuff brah!) I wish you the best of luck!
