Reviews for "Town of Fears"

Good But not great

It was fun, no doubt about it, and the levelling system was pretty good with all the options to chose from.
My Dissapointment though is that you cant choose to go back to a place you have already been, you have to continue along the track the game makes you...
This mean that you cant go and get a few more levels so you can power yourself up for the boss fight (which is insanely hard, and pretty much requires luck that the Fear does block your massive attacks completely.)
A lot of the skills seem pointless, seeing as you get (x) amount of points to spend, which barely makes 2 full skills... AFter those two skills are done your out of everything... It just doesnt make sense.
And even by the end of it, for some reason the student would do about 10 damage per diamond shot. Whats the go? Thats like 40 damage all together, when with horrible timing you could hit 50 with Jack or the Werewolf.
The game needs a tweak if you wanna make a sequel. Change some things about it, and i would love to see it

I appreciate the effort, but...

Maybe it's my old computer's fault, but the combat system lacks a lot of accuracy, it's very inaccurate...sometimes he gave me a 100% when I hit after the line, sometimes he misses when I click on the line...it's really random. I even adjusted quality settings to low, but it didn't do nothing to solve this big problem.

Hi, thanks for feedback. We did our best effort to optimize the game and it run smoothly on our hardware. Can you please pm me your specs? Also, is it possible you had any CPU-heavy things open in your browser when playing/antivirus scans going on or anything that could affect performance?
Thanks in advance.

Generally a well conceived, well made game, but the concept could have been taken much further in order to make the end player experience better.

I think most, if not all, would agree that free roaming and exploring the world would make the game much better, along with more side quests to make the experience more interesting and random enemy encounters so that the player can improve the characters that are available.
Also, some sort of gaugeable experience so the player knows when the character will level up.
This game plays very much like an rpg, thus i believe it should have standard rpg features, which are tried and true.

Adding these features would add replay value, and extend the length of the game, which is as great of an improvement as any game can get nowadays.

Still, it is well done.

Good, but not a lot to it

The game is alright but it gets really boring after a while, you do the same thing for way to long. If there were other mini-games or some other form of fighting it would be a lot better.

Just Okay

Game play is mostly just knowing when to hit the mouse at the right time. Story is kinda drawn out and I found myself skipping a lot of the story. Its really repetitive and gets boring after you beat the same moster 50 times. The way the chracters switched was probably the best part. I played for over an hour and a half and had to give up cause I couldnt beat the last guy. Maybe Im not the best gamer in the world but it shout not take you over 30 minutes to beat the guy at the end...okay overall.
