great game. as stated before, controls are a bit clunky, but overall a superb game with excellent graphics, and OUTSTANDING music!
I figured out how to unlock god mode using 'pirate mode'.
for those who dont know, when you do the 'jump climb' up walls, if you hold UP and ATTACK while you do it, you can climb straight up a wall. also, if you jump up, toss your squid off your head, then attack, you get a double jump allowing you to jump even higher (and glitch off the map in a few places)
well, if you unlock pirate mode and beat the game, go to the very last stage (boss fight). go into his cave, and do the jump/attack combo (that would normally help you climb straight up walls). with the pirate and bird, this will actually allow you to 'fly', never hitting the ground, just staying at the top of the cave. continue to do this until falling boulders have taken you down to zero life. instead of dying, you become invincible.
