Reviews for "The Lance!"

It's good, but...

After I tried continuing the game later, I wasn't able to buy anymore of the upgrades. All the ones I hadn't bought yet already had the Sold Out sign on them not the other one. And considering it takes a lot of work and time to even gain the money needed to buy the equipment, I am not that eager to replay the game to get where I was before.

Considering this is the first jousting game I've come across, I like the originality of it, but you should have some way to earn more money easier. The difficulty gets higher, but the reward doesn't, which makes is seem unfair. Maybe make the reward increase from opponent to opponent instead of a set reward for each one.

Good, with a few problems

You guys have a really solid game here with a very solid and very well known concept that doesn't get shown that much anymore especially in medevil fantasy games.

My main problem is that it is INCREDIBLY easy to fake out the enemy A.I.

All you have to do is make their shield follow your hit cursor until it's not in within the range of their head and go in for the kill

I mean I beat the LEVEL 25 champion at LEVEL 11 with weapons that were absolute shit in comparison to his (mind you this was on generation 4 or 5, but still)

come on...

that was easy

Pretty nice...but..

You need some kind of tutorial, I was pretty confused at first, but then I got the hang of it...
People that get a white screen after the game have loaded.. refresh the page, I got it too the first time..
People that don't know how to aim.. You're not supposed to keep the mouse inside the circle, you use the mouse to move the circle to whereever you want to aim at your opponent

why is everything sold out?

I'm accumulating money but can't buy anything, and therefore can't level up my character, because everything shows as sold out in the shop! There are loads of stuff I haven't got yet!

I think the upgrading system needs serious adjusting, but overall it's a very fun (and addicting) game.
