Interesting...

But you'd do better to develop your metaphors/analogies better - simply because these symbols are the very raw and basic elements of the message you're trying to convey and nothing complex or new. All in all, this is well done but rather plain, even though that does technically help convey the message better (which you decided to blatantly explain in the comments, so that's not really an excuse for over simplification).

Also, I'm inclined to disagree with one point on your opinion (not disagreeing with whatever religion you have, as I cannot prove it either way). Should we follow authority or our own heart? It's a broad and risky statement, which is great, but sometimes guidance is needed where human selfishness takes over so I'd say neither answer is always right.

Ultimately, I think you're right in saying technology is responsible (and therefore humans are responsible through technology) for much of the destruction of nature. HOWEVER, humans were destroying nature long before "technology," though perhaps not as rapidly, and there's really no way to stop human progress. I'm a little tired of people shouting out against modern society when they should be directing it instead.

As much as I can tell

its about making up your own mind rather than allowing others to do that for you. I can't see anything about global addiction, technology.. Does planting the seed to earth mean anything significant? One can care for nature without abondoning technology-world aint't black and white. religion perhaps when the end result is the guy sitting in a yoga(?) position. I'll take this as some sort of rosarch test perhaps. People who radically oppose religion will see it in everything including this.
Animation isn't as deep as your description pertains. Perhaps broaden the animation, or narrow what you claim you can deliver.

What I see is an eccentric guy (hyped up on whatever his race of square dudes has developed) who gives the bored triangle dude something SIMILAR to the sun, which the triangle dude has always wanted for some reason (maybe he is greedy?). Or, the Triangle dude is trying to stay awake all the time by keeping up with the sun--until he gets the light that allows him to conveniently stay awake nonstop? The triangle dude is then fascinated by the new light that he owns and he is totally consumed by it since there is not much else to do on his planet. Then he snaps out of it, destroys the light, suddenly sees nature (where did the seed come from?), has his respect for the sun again, and will finally develop a healthy sleep schedule. lol It's not very clear to me. I do like the mysterious feeling that animations like this give though.

Also, the music is sounds good but there is way too much of a low end (maybe not your fault). I want to listen to it but the bass is really annoying.
