Reviews for "Strawberry's Hour"

Outstanding!

I liked the low(ish) frame-rate in this movie. It gives it a lot of character. Although my computer may just be an asshole, so you can just ignore the last statement if it's not true.. There was no jerkiness in the movements, and the art style was superb. The plot was simple, but it really didn't need to be complicated. The music fit this animation like a glove.

My only complaint is that it wasn't actually an hour long.

Well done.

The movie runs at 24 fps, if at the ending the dog doesn't seem to move his legs when walking away, then yes, your computer is an asshole (mine is too sometimes).

THANKS A LOT!

Awesome !

Amazing light and colour effects , perfect music to go along with the storyline , funny plot but sad at the end when SBC dies :( ... keep up the good work MasterMero !!!

THANK YOU!

Wow

I am truly so impressed with this piece. I mean, this isn't Clock Day Flash, yet it is.

The graphics are really, really cool. For the background and the clocks, it has this somewhat cartoony feel to it, and you've also added some depths with lighting and coloring.

The animations are very fluid, looks absolutely amazing, very smooth, never choppy.

And of course, the story is just amazing to me. Tells a really long, detailed story of Strawberry Clock running from death, somewhat symbolic of the Clock Crew's early day, with them evading death from the admins and becoming such an important part of the website.

I certainly don't think this would be the same without the music you've used, I'd think it'd be very different, and certainly not as dramatic, the music itself adding so much to the feel and atmosphere of the flash.

Great work on this.

Creative and Unique

I don't wanna insult any of the other flash programmers who submit something on this years clock day, I've seen a lot of good flashes, but this here is by far my favorite!

The animation is great, the way of story-telling with the use of a whole new perspective is inimitable, music fits fine - very well done!

On my former review I gave only 9 stars 'cause of the sad ending, but Ray told me to hit the replay button and after I've done that I smiled and can't find any reason to give this flash less then 10 stars.

(and for the 10!)

Great flash

One of the best clock day submissions I've seen so far (and I've seen some great ones already). The story is pretty good and I like how the music goes along so well with the story.

The graphics are very neat, especially the grim reaper clock looks good.

Too bad the flash ended on such a sad note with the death of SBC. But it also shows that nobody can escape the grim reaper!
