The driving controls need a lot of work, and you can't active drifting in easy mode unless you're holding forward which doesn't help at all

Are there any drifting games where you CAN activate a drift without accelerating? Even in Mario Kart you have to be accelerating to drift.

Drifting is lousy
How can you mess up the drifting this bad when the drifting mechanic is in the title? No amount of practice will save you from the slippery controls, and you can't just go without drifting because the tracks are designed so you can pretty much only win if you drift. The medals aren't worth my time. Seriously, if you have to press space to reset your car, just restart the race because by the time you get going again your opponent will be a mile ahead of you and you'll never get the medals for completion times. The 3D is good though, especially since this is a flash game and it's your own 3D engine. The music is nice too, but it gets old after a while.
To people playing this game, if you're not familiar with racing games I wouldn't recommend this. It's not a pick up and play kind of game, which doesn't make for a good flash game. You're not likely to get the absolutely necessary skill of drifting down without a lot of time invested in the game, time I doubt you'll feel satisfied having invested once it's all said and done.

Undeniably this is aimed at racing game fans, particularly fans of 90's arcade racers - and it's pretty much the first of it's kind in Flash, thus should be judged accordingly.
In one way you have a point, if you're not familiar with racing games I wouldn't recommend it either, then again I wouldn't recommend your average tower defense game to someone who isn't familiar with tower defense games.
Ultimately you can't please everyone, and making this game more accessible to non racing game fans would have probably made the game less fun for proper race game fans, and the people who don't like racing games still wouldn't like it because, well - they don't like racing games.
The drifting is also no harder than early Ridge series games like Rage Racer, which require VERY precise timing, the main difference is the drifting in this game gives a significant speed boost, which takes some getting used to.
Difficult Game
Well, Good design and everything. But this is the problem, For example, Im in last and i need to catch up. YOU WILL NEVER CATCH UP. The only way you can beat your opponent is to get in first which is a little hard because the enviroment. ITS SO FUCKING HARD BEACUASE OF THE FUCKING ENVIROMENT!!!!!! But still, Its a good game. Luckly, I give this game a fair score. My Rating: 5/10. P.S: ill come back to play, its fun!
