Reviews for "Rampaging Boss"

mmmmmm

i didnt like it but i didnt hate it so ill go with inbetween

Lacks a lot of animation.

Can't tell why this got 2nd place, but this is a sad excuse for a 'flash animation parody'.

You could at least try to make it so it actually has voices, or something that makes it know it's alive.

The emotions on the face can't even match what's on the face. Good job making your characters look retarted.

Also, yes, I did see in the description where it says if you dislike it to leave this page. I can review whatever the fuck I want. This is newgrounds.

I don't know whether to laugh or pity you after reading your review :) not to mention I nearly died after looking at your profile page. erm.. are you a 6 years old?

Very dull rampage.

Very misleading title as 80% of this flash is a recycled animation of chibis running down a corridor. Besides that this comes way too close to just being a comic, as most of the animation is still-frames and objects or parts of characters just shaking back and forth.

Secondly, I could tell right away that this was based on something as the only comedy I could gleam from this animation was, "Haha, that character always does stuff like that" or "It is funny because I like the show these people are from." Sure enough, it's from an anime I've heard of and know nothing about, but again the title should at least hint that it's based on something so I'd have known not to bother with it.

Lastly, the art is just so bland. When people complain about seeing "unoriginal anime art" this exemplifies it in every way. Put in a little time and effort next time to bring something that looks like it came from you, and not from a generic how-to draw manga book.

Front paged?

How?
Half of this animation was a slide show?!

Something I'm missing?

Well, the concept is sound, seeing a boss go on an anime style rampage does sound like fun. It's sort of a pity that's not what this is. This is populated with characters that have been clearly developed elsewhere, and then plugged into this scenario, which normally wouldn't be an issue, except we're treated to jokes that play into these relationships we don't know anything about. Troll face guy and gun guy just show up out of no where, do nothing of any significance, and then are gone, amounting in little more than filler. It really felt like watching a parody of a series I've never seen or heard of before.
Then there's the animation itself, which is often repetitive. Now I understand the need for, and expect some repetition in flash animations, but the overuse of certain animations ends up wearing thin. And that is when there is any animation at all. A good portion of the film is nothing but still images, which linger far too often. It really feels like the animator couldn't decide if he wanted to draw a comic or do an animation, tried both, and ended up with neither.
