okay then.

i understand this is jested towards the anime fans...

although i am not one of them i will rate this flash as if i was.

first off, even if i was a fan of the art, this doesnt look very well animated. but it might just be my computer lagging. i can see this kind of humor is liked by many, but i didnt like it that much. the music is alright but is very repetitive, but then again, so is the flash...

if you found my rating unfair, then maybe i can consider rating it without acting like i like anime style flashes...

Eh.

I'm not sure where someone would get "good laughs" from this but unfortunately, I sure didn't. It was all very predictable and none of it was original to me. The music, albeit seeming catchy at first, didn't fit it. Rather, it made it more annoying to sit through. The idea behind this had some merit but the execution of it could have gone better. Not bad if this was your first flash but not front page worthy.

Not great, but not awful.

Ultimately, it isn't a terrible animation. The music synchs well with the imagery, and the art is fairly faithful to the style on which it's based. That said, I feel that the music might not have been the best choice for something with this sort of pace, and the actual animation was choppy enough that there was some visual dissonance. A good attempt, but this could use some polish.

Art was decent, but...

I think a bit more effort could have gone into the animation here. It seemed to largely be a simple flash loop with minor, occasional changes thrown in. I animated more complicated things in my high school digital media course (using power point; my teacher sucked). Music was great, but slightly too fast paced for the minimal content it was put to. Also, you could have worked on the text you used a bit more. It seemed a bit standard, and in moments where it should have been a bit more zesty it, well, lacked flavor. I'm sure you had fun with the project, but there is an audience to consider.

Having said all that, you have potential as an animator. Perfect your style (as far as making it come to life is concerned), learn to animate in a slightly more timely and complex manner, and overall, mix it up! Perhaps collaborate with a few people to get yourself going, if you're truly interested in flash. I suspect good things around the corner, so don't let any hint of negativity in this or any other review get you down!
