awesome
i admit im a bit partial to games with this theme, but still. its fun, challenging (level 7 i got frustrated and quit tho), and some of the things you see make you sort of make up a story in your head. like the pile of dead robots on one of the levels, and how there are so many traps tying to stop this lil guy, seems sort of apocalyptic, like a last-man-standing thing. all in all, good, not the best, but among the top 10 or 20. 8 stars, and you earned them.
Buggy
The game is interesting, but there appears to be a bug at the end of level 6. Once I've picked the star fragment and I'm about to jump on the rightmost platform (the one with the arrow sign) I fall down, as if there were no platform.
Other than that, the game looks nice; the robot reminds me to "Little Wheel". The controls are a bit hard, though, and there seems to be points in which boxes get unexplainably stuck.
Frustrating for the wrong reasons
Go to TvTropes, type in "Fake Difficulty." This game has that--which is unfortunate, because the environments are really nice; I stopped at level 5 but I thought the stack of dead robots (on I think level 2?) was a nice touch.
Really it's all on the movement system: it's not a bad idea to have momentum affect the player character's movement, but in a puzzle platformer where much of the game is dependent on precise timing it's VERY frustrating ("The Mind Bender" had a similar problem, but didn't look nearly as nice as this).
Music's nice, I didn't notice any bugs.
One nitpick: neither the "Next Level" screen nor the sound it plays seem to fit the game. Not a big deal but it breaks the feel you have going here.
I love the graphics!
The art concept it great, just my taste, but I have to admit that the game itself was quite boring.
