Reviews for "Pothead Zombies"

Fairly good game.

It didn't stray horribly outside the usual defense genre formula, but the way it was presented was very nice. The most notable thing about the gameplay was the incorporation of the AI partner. Adds more strategy to your battle-plan, and also had the very nice touch that it took them a while to get familiar with a weapon. I'm not sure exactly why some people are offended by this, obviously it's a (heavily) exaggerated effect of the drugs, used for comedic effect or something of the like. One thing I would've preferred is a way to repair your fortress at the cost of money, but it's not a major concern because you can continue from just about anywhere, and most damage can be avoided if you hurry on advancing your weaponry.

Overall: 9/10 5/5

Thanks for your opinion.

Potheads flying elephants. What more can I say?

I'm just a sucker for zombies :P

The game was great! Played through the entire game, and just finished. I was running through half the way with 2 health remaining before being mauled by zombie pachyderms.

The music was quite catchy to begin with, but it got a tad annoying by the fourth wave. I would have liked more variety in tracks, different tracks playing rather than looping the same one countless times. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely liked what was playing. I just hoped for something else. The final level change of music was relieving. While I'm on that, the final boss music was strangely hilarious. I got a sense of urgency of defeating the monstrosity tumbling its way toward me, yet I also couldn't help but laugh away as I blasted. Good song, good song.

One thing I did not understand was the fans. I was at a loss as to what purpose they served. Please explain. I figured they replenished health, which they did not (another point of the game I found to my disliking; no health replenishment).

While I did not like the ability to regain health lost, I did happen upon the perk of losing. The ability to call in an airstrike more than makes up for it!

The help of a partner goes a long way. Nice to not only include a partner, but also to include the ability to upgrade yours and your partner's weapons.

Overall, superb game.

Fairly good

I had a lot of fun with this game, even when I came back multyple times. I thought the AI partner was especially original and turned out to be very helpful. Thing is, it was pretty annoying when I gave them a new gun (like the MP5) and they'd only shoot every couple seconds. But overall, it was a fun game the first few times you play it. After three or four games, you get your strategy down and it gets repetative. I would have like to see a broader range of guns, and pinpoint accuracy for all guns was okay I guess, but a little inaccuracy makes things more interesting. Fans were a nice touch. There should have been an option to rebuild your house during intermissions. The music was okay but I think there are some better pieces that could have been used. I'm not a big fan of techno stuff. Overall, a very fun game, just lacks that replayability that makes other games great. I would love to see a sequal. Cheers.

That was fun

Yeah, this game caught my attention for quite some time, well, actually I kept playing till I beaten it with 0 damage which is possible, just gotta do the following:
1.- Keep the pistols till wave 6 as you go upgrade reload time once and damage twice.
2.- Keep in mind that killing the zombs faster will get you more cash.
2.- During level 7 you must have enough money to buy the assault rifle and upgrade everything once, you can though do the reload glitch, that means right before you spend your magazine go to inventory and upgrade the magazine capacity, then go back and you'll see your gun fully realoaded.
3.- Let your partner keep its gun and upgrade DAMAGE ONLY, there's a bug that upgrading reload once will make it go from 100>5 which is so fast it seems the character doesn't reload the gun at all.
4.- Keep upgrading your assault rifle and your partner's gun, I think during level 10 when you see a horde of fliying elephants comming, that's when you should buy the minigun and upgrade damage once, and you can use the reload glitch for an extra advantage, you may actually need it to pull it off.
So, following those simple steps should help you beating the game with 0 damage, oh, and if you get a lag due to the game, then right-click the screen, click quality and click low. Yes, they look crappier, but you won't get too much of a lag.
And @Darqevil, I sir, facepalm at your idiotness.
