Wanted: Meaning...
I am being generous with the 3 star rating. Animation is passible for the fact it is on Newgrounds. The sound was probably not your fault, good microphones can cost some money. The storyline of a short film should be easy to pick up, all I picked up from this was some nature guy had a feeling a human died, did some stunts in the trees leading to a high water dive, then held her while some one shot him for no exact reason. Trying not to insult your work with the next comment, but this would of taken me 5 seconds to think of. If you had made it funny...I might of seen it as a joke. Please take this criticism to heart, I am not trying to mean at all, just truthful. These other comments that say "This is brilliant" are most likely posted by users who cant keep an attention span long enough to think about the video they just watched and went by the sudden mood they were thrown into. Keep up the work, Im sure with more effort you are capable of incredible things.

I notice the topic is as same as the submission The Demon's Gem. Now I'm curious what Tofa is and would to learn more, maybe there's Tofa for the art portal?

I'm going to deviate from my regular Reviewing process and just talk about a few things here.
This animation was one of the most visually stunning works of art that I've seen.
Plenty of detail (for the most part) and some nice Ambient sounds to go with it.
However, After all that effort, it seems you skimped out on your voice acting/actor...
After spending so much time and effort on something beautiful like this, you really don't want to ruin it with some badly recorded vocals now do you?
Keep that in mind for future animations.
