What a nice quaint game

The coolest thing about this game was that the graphics were just plain gorgeous! I loved interacting with this amazing environment. It's also a game where you can just run around and play with it as long as you like. I find it a bit odd a robot has a human son, but whatever. This was tons of fun because it just had such a great sense of authenticness to it and it wasn't mean spirited or too elaborate or anything like that. The music is also really cool.

Normally, I don't like these games that much because there isn't a lot of action. What it lacked in action, it made up for in how detailed it was. I also like the idea of this robot existing in this otherwise more nature-like world. Don't make the better stuff like that until Robot Day! I appreciated the homey feeling and the good sound effects.

Ericho,

I am very happy to hear that you experienced what I intended! Thanks for the great review :D

nice, but..

I've gotten stuck behind on of the yellow beams. so would itbe possible to add some rest button or something?

AtmosGames responds:

The recently uploaded version won't allow you to do that. Props for getting in such an epic glitch ;D

Nice design but flawed plot

This was beautiful. Cute atmosphere with a tinge of eerie and as it progressed the eerie got more and more prevalent. I liked that. I also liked the sounds and how crisp everything went. I liked the clever obstacles and even Mama who was most certainly the villain in the end.
Unfortunately this just seems really pretentious if you dont give an ending. That's the beauty of the relationship between a game and a gamer, the gamer does everything the game asks; run, jump, grab, etc. And as a reward for the gamer's good efforts, they are given a short cutscene. You see, the gamer doesn't ask for much, they want to know the developer likes making the game, likes their fans and maybe allowing the gamer experience the story the developer is trying to tell. I'd say this is just a bunch of cryptic bullshit covered over with good game design. Maybe you should consider collabing with a writer and just stick to programming and designing.
You can't guise the fact that you're basically just scattering out tidbits of information and appear as if you're artistic. Granted, an artist never reveals all, but this is just silly. Not even a hint there will be a second one.
So I'm sorry, but I personally feel jerked around for spending a good hour or so running and jumping and breaking my fingers to simply find out there is no conclusion. I don't care what sort of message you were trying to deliver, every great metaphorical story has an ending.
I wish I could give you a better rating but the things you're lacking takes off a big, big chunk of my respect.
Also, you have some color glitches going on in the credits.

AtmosGames responds:

Haehyun,

Thanks for your time in writing such a lengthy review :)

As for the plot, give it another play, then see what you think. I truly believe the plot I revealed was just enough, but if you don't think so the second time through then maybe you could PM me your thoughts.

Thanks!

Odd

I'm using Google Chrome, and for some reason I couldn't get the robot to even move. I tried opening it in Internet Explorer, and the robot went nuts and went all over the place without me pressing any buttons to start with. Idk if it's a bug, my web browser, or just something that I didn't fully download. I'll give it a 10 though, cuz I played Coma and I expect this is just as awesome.

AtmosGames responds:

Well thank you :)

great game

excellant gameplay and nice graphics with awsome audio
