Reviews for "Skinny"

Missing a conclusion

It is, in my opinion, a nicely done game. Extremely fun, and undoubtedly enjoyable to watch. For the technical details it deserves a very high score.

However, as someone already mentioned earlier, the save system needs a refit since for now it's not very useful since there is no way to lose. Adding a "level select" to the menu with which we can replay a saved level would fix this.

Also,
I believe I understood the message, however the story as it is told seems to be lacking an adequate ending that would "wrap it up", sort to speak. So unfortunately, unless you're planning on a sequel, my score will have to remain only 8.

Cool

I have played your Coma before, Coma is good, sure Skinny is good, too.
But the only thing I feel pity is the End! I'd love to know what kind of system that mom lives, and Skinny is more harder than Coma.

I think this story very strange but it seems like a huge mystery secret behind, I really want to know what inside!

Your art is very special, it's silently, and beautiful.

Excellent level design. (And everything else.)

Great atmosphere and all that, of course, but by far the most relevant aspect for me was the level design. It's exceedingly rare to see a puzzle-platformer like this with level design this good, even in commercial products. I particularly enjoyed the outdoors map with the moving platform and the lateral springs; I replayed the entire game just to do that level again.

(On which note, virtually the only reason this isn't a 10/10 is a fairly lacking save system. Being able to replay any completed level would save a lot of time. Shattering the globes doesn't do anything other than save the most recently played level; it doesn't keep any information regarding the specifics of that level, so why not just allow access from the main menu to every level with a shattered globe?)

Fear is control

Just as deep and beautiful as coma was.

BTW, getting to Felix was extremely difficult. Just saying.

cool

Good but a bit weird
