idatu bugged but game is fun

will not advance to level 2

I think its very fun, fairly well balanced you have the powerful guys and the zurg rushers. I'm sad i can't advance to level two with my swarm of little cheap rushers :'( please fix it

graphics good
sounds pretty good
that little bug aside i think its perfect... except you may want to tune down the power of the idatus ( maybe make it slightly more expensive i think 150 is fine i wish i could rate the others lol) and make the hero weapons faster... i want to hop in too :D

Cool Game

Hey.

The graphics, and audio are great, and I like the fact that I can directly control my own unit in addition to the RTS elements. The reload on my own unit was annoying, though.

When my own unit was destroyed, at first, I thought the game was over... apparently, not (:
I was much relieved when I could build myself another one, which was cool.

Gameplay is a bit slow in the beginning, but I guess that's because of the grind involved with building up your levels.

When I click on buildings that are maxed out, r don't have enough crystals, I get messages like these:

SecurityError: Error #2121: Security sandbox violation: getChildAt: http://uploads.ungrounded.net/572000/
572433_UDE_secure.swf cannot access http://server.cpmstar.com/adviewas3.s wf?contentspotid=4802QB713DE58. This may be worked around by calling Security.allowDomain.
at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer /getChildAt()
at map.ui.utils::FadingTextTip()
at map. ::BuildingPlayer/ ()

and this:

ArgumentError: Error #2025: The supplied DisplayObject must be a child of the caller.
at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer /removeChild()
at com.moonmana.map.utils::DyingStageMov ieClip/die()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatc hEventFunction()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatc hEvent()
at com.moonmana.map.utils::DyingMovieCli p/ ()

Other than those, this game is nice.

Thank you very-very much! Ill fix it asap. Almost done, compiling!

Idatu is easy

I played Idatu - never lost a battle, never lost my hero. For the first few levels I just produced a lot of pawns or protos and sent them to the enemy base, and did a lot of damage to the base with my hero. I used the laser weapon which is good for luring. Then once I got to the level with Apoly (the big long range tank) I just made a lot of Apoly and set them to defend. I used my hero to lure big enemies away from the enemy base to my own base to kill them, as I increased my number of Apolys. (Note that you can just make the maximum number of Mines at the start for fastest resource getting).

Then when I had "enough" Apolys (like 34-60 population depending on the level), I set them all to attack. They wipe out everything with their extreme range, nothing stops them - on the last 3 levels I didn't lose a single unit.

Good one but laggy one

Well this game is good, I thing that a lot of us had the idea of an strategic game in that you can control one unit directly, of course one of the bad things is the lack of levels, I was playing twice some of them, another point is that the ground and the terrain are always the same, finally it produces some lag, this point makes it very difficult to play (specially if those tanks are pointing at you) I would reccommend some resources administration, you know, reducing some here, putting things togueter there etc.

Thanks for the good advices!

Overall it's nice...

Campaign mode was a pain in the butt whne you where using the Idaty race, though I found some of their units a lot better than the ones at Tridalian, for example the SpyGun was a great adittion to my army, also the supportive but destructive strength from the Apoly... Certainly those Hoppers were really annoying, but there's a way to counter them sligthly better, the heroic units packs some nasty punch, all you got to do is to constantly switch your weapons awhile shotting and you'll be able to take on many enemy units with your hero alone.
One thing that worked for me was to increase the cristals output at maximum in the beginning awhile my hero goes on a killing rampage on its own. Doing the weapon switching thing made it easier. This game can truly develop into something better, like bigger and complexer maps, to be able to build your stuff IN land and see your own buldings and upgrade em', blah, blah, blah...
I'd like to see a secuel of this game.
