It was too easy

Overall, the concept and execution are wonderful, however, balance is a serious issue.
except for the first level, where i was getting a feel for the game, every level can be completed with just the hero, strafing up and down while toggling through the weapons firing off as much as he can since the opposing weapons don't do a huge amount of damage quick enough for the repair to not cover it. Basically, to force people to play the game, i'de say make the base turret do about 5 or 10 times the dmg to the hero unit. Then, force the computer to also build up like the player does, this will stop the computer from just mad rushing you at the start with dozens of units you couldn't handle with the hero alone. I hope to see more like this in the future though!

I did pretty much the same tactic as the guy below me except:
I was the other faction
I used my heros AoE style mortar gun

I would like to make it multiplayer, but it's way to hard, because it's Real time and requires powerfull servers

Herzog Zwei

Reminded me of that on the old sega genesis. However, the tactics were pretty cut-n-dry here.

1) Start by building as much mining as you can
2) While mining is building, go solo their base and pick off any troops he creates/patrols using the rapid-shot ion cannon
3) Since you're picking things off as fast as he can make them, you can wash-rinse-repeat until you're mining is upgraded to full
4) With mining fully upgraded, start cranking out basic units (the first guys you can get), since they have lots of hit points, take less energy to field, and cost ~1/4 less than hoppers.
5) While they wander over, circle-strafe his base and blast away with the ion cannon...his base can't hit you, since it can't lead you as a target.
6) Eventually your ion shots and your friendly fire will topple his base.

Repeat, repeat, repeat

Pretty boring, but the art-work, animation, etc is very commendable. Just could use more balance. If the hero unit could do more than just upgrade his attack, it'd be nice. Like perhaps give bonuses to near-by units, heal/fix them, carry units over to the enemy so they arrive faster (like in herzog zwei) ... intangible things that indirectly affect battle rather than just upgrading weapon systems.
