Great game, with little need of improvement

This is a very fun, unique game that could keep me occupied for hours on end. The gameplay itself is simple and pretty easy, yet not so easy that I feel like there's no challenge. However, it's the storyline that reeled me in and sets this game apart from any generic side-scrolling shooter. It has an interesting plot and a deep emphasis on character development. The character art is in a beautiful anime style, but I found some of the enemy designs to be somewhat plain while others were very unique and creative. The soundtrack was simply beautiful.

The only thing I could think of improving on is the scenery you can't fly through on the levels. In certain places, such as the city level, it's hard to distinguish the background from the parts that you can't fly through. If you make a sequel(which I REALLY hope for) perhaps make those objects stand out a bit more, and maybe be able to shoot through them.

This is a very good game and I would love to see a sequel sometime in the future. I must have MOAR!!1!

Life-Altering

Starwish has gone beyond what a simple flash game could possibly have been. unlike most other games which could only amuse the player for a short period of time, or, cause addiction, here we've got meaningful stuff that's actually worthwhile thinking about. it consists of the author's most precious life experiences and flash programming skills.The philosophy in Starwish is quite something, if you can fully understand it, you'll learn a lot. so please treat this magnificent piece of art with respect, instead of giving it a 1/5 just because of "wtf?i died"

amzing....

this is simply an amazing game, the characters fel like real people, when the captain died, i nearly cried, the story is amazing, the world you created is great

the graphics and sound were great, good music choices, and the sprites were good as well

the gameplay was awsome, though i had some issues with the controls a couple times, but i really didn't mind it

all in all, a damn near perfect game,

Graphic novel emphasis on novel

Already played through about 5 minutes of it and I am mighty impressed by the story already and am working up to the point where I am comfortable with the actual gameplay. I can't wait to play this through, though, it seems like it will take a while if i do spend my time reading through the intertwining stories. Anyhow Based on story alone This game already earns my respect. Now if only I had the means to play this at home.
