Reviews for "SS - The Flower of Life"

I hate to say it

I have loved your other lessons but this... this makes me think you ball shiting us

RiverJordan responds:

Could be, you decide.

You're kidding.

The style is blatantly ripped from Extra Credits.

If you're going to try to teach people something, at least try not to be unoriginal. I'll give you three stars for decent drawings.
Drawings wasted on plagiarism.

Idiotic

First off, scientific models all fit into geometrical patterns, not their real life counterparts. For instance, although the MODEL of an atom in science books is geometric, in real life atoms are mostly empty space and electrons have no concrete orbits. The models are relying on probability and where you are most likely to find an electron given that they can, in reality, be virtually anywhere. The orbitals that tell you an atom's location are wave functions and appear as 3-dimensional angular nodes. The picture you have of atoms neatly swirling around a nucleus is overly simplistic and is used to provide a simplified picture for children who are first learning science. Electrons, like other particles, have properties of both a particle and a wave. The electron cloud is a region inside the potential well where each electron forms a type of three-dimensional standing wave-a wave form that does not move relative to the nucleus. This behavior is defined by an atomic orbital, a mathematical function that characterizes the probability that an electron appears to be at a particular location when its position is measured. The universe is more probabilistic than it is geometric,

Hard to rate any higher

I applaud the effort that you put into this, but what you're preaching here is absolutely ridiculous. I just hope that young impressionable people don't take this to heart and stunt their education with nonsense.

I suppose it's no more ridiculous to believe this than to believe in scientology or anything else but to pass this off as science is appalling.

Sometimes I wonder why so many people buy into so many wild conspiracies and alien myths and crystal balls and all the rest of that junk. It seems like 95% of our species is idiotic and it's immensely frustrating.

RiverJordan responds:

Just because they have different opinions than you, doesn't make them stupid.

No.

No... No... This is some cult shit and I will have no part in it.
Though the animation wasn't bad.
