fuckin awesome cause i helped lol

yo mofos i been seein alota shit bout complaining of the hardness trust me its fuckin possible and easy when u work out how they interact with eachother it was built for intelligent people so im not surprised alot of u r finding it hard understand the sprites and the way they interact its a digital environment sustaining an environment isnt meant to be fuckin easy this is a game made to challenge now how do i know all this i helped develope i claim to no fame for i just did a bit of animation for it here and there (the shitting bow and the psychonaut plant oh and the egg for the deamon i think thats it hippie let me know if it isnt) but yeah the scores ive got on te cunt ae amazing ive kept it going for hours its half puzzle half life sim

The Psychonaut plant and the Blue box monsters.

Perhaps I could make a 2.0 with other guest submissions?

Hmmm...

I like the ease of the controls, but overall, there were still a few things that got to me. For one, the CO2 meter/bar. I understand that green/in the middle is where you want to keep it at for optimum environment for sustaining life. Which end, though, refers to too much or too little CO2? Also, the spontaneity of plants and animals entering the area where you can move them into the terrarium should be controlled further. I could never keep anything alive because either there'd be an utter lack of plant or animal organisms at crucial moments, despite the current complexity. Overall, I love these kinds of games, but this one got irritating to me rather quickly due to the difficulty of keeping the right environment without everything going to heck in a handbasket.

perfect balance achieved

I managed to get it into pretty much perfect balance in the late game, on the low Co2 end with the complexity bard max but the co2 bar just wiggling back and forth. took some time, but herbivores and self replicating plants for the win.

It lives!

Finally another artificial life sim. Though I dont seem to be able to get a higher complexity of life before everything dies... Also I am not sure if there's an actual system behind what is gonna spawn next. I would love to see a further developed installment one day.

BatMantiz responds:

The older the organism, the more o2/co2 they use.
The trick is to learn WHEN to add another seed...
Yes, there is a spawning system, but it is a combination of complexity and luck...

Worth a look!

I almost didn't give this a chance, but a second look made me realize it was pretty interesting. The graphics need some work to make it more attractive, but there's a really good start here. It would be nice to be able to learn more about each seed as we go along. One glitch I found: the floating seeds keep getting trapped underground where they can't grow.

BatMantiz responds:

Thank you!
I tried to keep the graphics simple, as the tank can get quite full...
I am still trying to fix this bug, but this can be hard as it doesn't happen often enough to find out exactly what is causing it...
