Fun game
The dash was frustrating however. It would help if you made W jump instead of space, and if the dash was a separate key.

+ This game is really fun, and the speed reminds me of Sonic.
- I don't think you should lose all of your max health boosts when you die, because that led me to losing the rest of my lives immediatly after I first died.
? Also, the characters all look like they're from Spore...

I don't know what they're talking about with the controls being sketchy. It was kinda awkward getting the hang of it, but it's pretty well done IMO. Maybe put a different button for your dash instead of double-over that would help some people out.
