Reviews for "Zombie Knight"

good game, but

towards the end it became a tad easy, tho i had some of the best gear and al eader ship score of 7 by the end, with giants and liches. but it was still challengeing enough i died a few times, so perhaps its just i got lucky/skills. no points off for that at all.
the only reason im not going above an 8 was it seemd too short, and progression was odd. i killed the kingm yet still had nt fought the others, not only that but it just seemd to go by to fast. but, all in all great game, loved it, good story line and nice grafics/gameplay.

Awesome!

But you should make level ups and the very hard places are damn hard =(

Interesting

The graphics are nice: Not necessarily pretty, but certainly fitting. The upgrades are nice and they give meaningful choices where there isn't one best choice that would be apparent, although I'd prefer for the character to be more than just a set of equipment. However, the controls pretty much ruin the game for me: Attacking is just pressing single button repeatedly. The dashing that's supposed to happen when you press a direction button rapidly seems to happen pretty much randomly, even when I don't mean for it to. Having to select skill and then press a button to use it seems unnecessary: I think it would be better if you could use the skills just by pressing number buttons or alternatively using Q,W,E and R.

tl;dr: Good game, controls need rethinking.

Good game, needs improvement

Quite a good game, playable, with nice graphics, not too tedious but it requires several improvements on which I'll concentrate in this review as what you've done well you alreayd know from plenthora of enthusiastic reviews:

1. Shop needs improvement. Aside from the first location which offered basic equipment, every other location offered almost the same stuff with mediocre differences, in the same price range and with the same looks. May be a bug.

2. Something to do with the cash in later phases of the game. Since I quite quickly started to accumulate loot better than what was offered in the shops and bought every skill I had nothing to spend money on. Maybe additional upgrades, even greater tier but very expensive equipment etc etc could be provided?

3. Way to improve the character in some other way than by buying stuff. Sure, needless exp grinding may not be the way but once the player has all skills the only way for him to improve is to gather better pieces of armor or weapons which are rather random, meaning one may need to grind anyway to get something good enough to win the next battle without great hardships. Although probably if 2. would be done, this would be less of a problem.

That would be all.

Like everyone here, the lack of an official ending and just the general shortness of the game often hampers the experience. However, it is quite nice in general! And the music. I love it. I tend to judge a bit too much with the Music but I'd just love to know who made it and where I can find it.

Other than that, lack of content. Hope this was helpful!
