Reviews for "Clarence's Big Chance"

bats and lamps

great game but you should have put the plumber with a red hat or a boss luigi and mario ohh ye i have got 3 keys and all from the attick i am gonna get my 4th and get to that scroll so yeah and am gonna play some more games you have made you'r gettin a 4/5 because it's bit hard with all the anamils and plus he has like 70 anmails so yeah good flash

Everything I want from a game, and then some...

Platforms, humour, retro gaming references, a mute button, longevity, collectibles and disappearing platforms and then some lovely twists, like the zombies and the NPCs with their individual dialogues.

I got 96%, i don't think i'll play again now for those final scraps, but I realyl thoroughly enjoyed the five or more hours I spent in this game which just kept opening up and getting bigger.

Thank you very much. This was exactly the game I have been looking for.

Where the hell is that last tip??

Ì need help on something:
I collected all the tips except for one (the third from the top where apparantly it says what flowers she likes). I know it has to be in Clarence's house and I checked all rooms twice again but I just cant seem to find it -.-

The ones I have in this level:
- the one in Clarences room
- the one in the kitchen in the room with the 2 mice and the telly
- the one in the basement (if I remember correctly)

So please help :)

great game btw!

Pseudolonewolf responds:

It's in the Living Room, in the bit where one of Clarence's fathers is having a row with three of his mothers over a roast chicken; you have to defeat the father, and you'll see that he was on top of the laptop.

Weird game. Great level design, fun enemies and environments, and good dialogue and descriptions. I like when there are lots of items and secrets to find. But this game really doesn't need all the "whores," it's is very rude to fat people, and it presents a bit of an archaic view of women overall. It also has the somewhat unpleasant Groundhog's Day-type idea that if you know enough about a woman, you can manipulate her in the right way so that she'll fall in love with you. Suffice it to say that I don't think many women were consulted in the making of this game.

But I do love driving a pink car through an occupied office building.

It's a great game but I hate platformers (mostly because I'm terrible at them).
